Even in the relatively wealthy San Francisco Bay Area, at least three car dealerships have closed in the past week because of a myriad of problems related to the economic downturn and the credit crunch associated with it.

- Sexuality may be genetic, but gayness is a choice!!! If a heterosexual can't control his/her sexuality they become womanizers, or worse. It's all a matter of choice. Keep it behind closed doors and there is no problem. Don't expect special treatment simply because you choose a lifestyle.

- Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me! When I was in school is was slut or bitch that was used more than anything relative to sexual activity. Maybe if we taught our children some morals all this would go away.

- I've been drinking diet soda for 20 plus years (I go through a 12 pack of 12 oz cans in two days, more on the weekend). I'm 53 and the last time I saw my doctor she said I "should keep doing what I'm doing" (didn't tell her I drank so much, but all tests indicated that I have no issues).

- A loan deferment is nice until you have to pay the interest that has accrued on the loan (assuming it's a private loan). Not the best financial decision a person could make.
